We are pleased to announce that SciTech-Service’s biorefinery team has been strengthened by the addition of Topias Anttila.

Mr. Topias Anttila, M.Sc., joins as Project Engineer in the Biorefinery team. He recently finished his master thesis in Aalto University, School of chemical engineering. Topias studied Chemical and process engineering with his major in Plant Design and Master’s thesis focused on biorefining processes, where lignin separation from a kraft pulp mills side stream was studied.
Topias had previous experience at Borealis, where for the past 3 years, as HSE-engineer, dealt with environmental, energy and chemical safety issues in Borealis Porvoo production plants.

Topias comments on his new work position:

“Sustainability is my passion, so I’m looking forward to being able to contribute as a project engineer in biorefinery-related projects at SciTech.”
